Rachel Murphy was deeply upset by the horrific experience his five pound dog Toto went through over the weekend. Rachel says that a hairdresser taped Toto r's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Toto r became bloody and upset.
Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I originally thought was an actual muzzle, turned out to actually be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.
Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
Rachel took Toto straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He joined a number of others in accusing Wow! My Dog for animal abuse. As a result, the San Mateo's office has initiated an investigation into the company for potential animal cruelty.
Rachel described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
Marianna De las Vegas is a Wow! My Dog customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a animal abuse brochure dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.
Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
